Wine Logistics offers a range of transport, warehousing and inventory control for many different needs. Our warehouse is part of a larger warehousing complex which is monitored by cameras and locked and patrolled by First Security at night providing a completely secure environment.

Warehousing

The Wine Logistics warehousing operation is the key to the high level of service we provide for our customers. We undertake a variety of warehouse activity and we consider no request too hard. The key areas are:

  • Order management
  • Pick and pack and consolidation
  • Cross dock of route and linehaul deliveries
  • Repack, labeling and fulfillment activities

 

Route and Linehaul Transport

We transport goods all over New Zealand and pride ourselves on being able to provide a quality same day delivery service in Auckland and Wellington metropolitan locations using our own van, couriers and bulk freight companies depending on who will provide the most cost effective and prompt service for the specific requirements.

 

We have our own van in the Auckland metropolitan area and work with only trusted carriers in areas outside Auckland. This provides the platform for quality service to all areas including:

  • Orders placed by 9am in Auckland and Wellington metropolitan areas can be delivered by midday
  • Orders for bulk consignments placed by 9am in Auckland can be delivered same day and according to customers’ inwards receipting requirements.
  • Wine Logistics is familiar with the particular inwards requirements of most Distribution Centres and larger retailers.
  • Orders placed by 11am in Auckland and Wellington metropolitan areas can be delivered the same day
  • Able to work to specific delivery timings if required
  • Avoidance of undesirable delivery times, for example during the busy lunchtime period in on-premise

 

Customer Service
Where a third-party carrier is used we can access online services to undertake track and trace functions so we can tell you where your delivery is at any time. We have close and personal relationships with the customer services teams of all freight carriers we use and this means that when there are urgent requests or if things go wrong we are well placed to resolve issues quickly.

Storage
Wine Logistics stores shipments and later arranges for their distribution as required, ensuring that each shipment is delivered on time and in the expected condition. Storage functions covered include:

  • Receipt of inwards goods
  • Completion of all documentation as requested
  • Storage until requested for dispatch
